I was taken by surprise at the reaction to 24. I mean, it's not as if a nuclear explosion hasn't been portrayed on TV before. I guess the libs just couldn't handle it though.

The libs little make believe world has been invaded with reality, and they just can't face it.

What part of "not in L.A." does anyone not understand with the 24 nuke.

I pointed out on Nov 8th that the hghest probability future would be that the libs would consider the war optional and withdraw and that following our "dfeat" our enemies would advance. I also pointed out that we will maintain the aility to annihilate our enemies quickly and decisively and when it came to a fnal option between that and actual defeat we would, as Churchill pointed out, "finally do what was necessary after having tried everything else first". It will be unfotunate but millions of peopple wll die because we didn't have the courage to fight now.

Would our nation set aside the absurdity that is the notion of fighting a politically correct war to stand as one and set out to kill the bastards that attacked us, that killed hundreds of thousands of us? Judging from where we are five years on from September of 2001, the prospects dont look too good. When this happens, we will "Finally Do What is Necessary", but you are right, millions will die because we didn't have the courage to fight now.
All the Islamofasciasts understand is military power.

"America. Its five to midnight. Do you know where the terrorists are?" Probably streaming across the Mexican border. But that's ok, they'll probably register as Demonrats.

At one time, earlier on...everyone on this site had extremely staunch, conservative views and beliefs. Today, with the weak kneed (aka; pansy arsed) moderators in place...this site ain't what it used to be and doesn't carry the water that it once did. < editorial opinion/off>

Few facts regarding suitcase nuke effects:
*Any man-portable "suitcase" nuke would have to be rather low yield, measured in tons (up to 1 Kiloton). Hiroshima and Nagasaki were 13-16 kilotons and 21 kilotons respectively
*Correspondingly, while definitely tragic, damage caused would be relatively limited. If you're 1 kilometer (or more) distant from the explosion, you can survive relatively easily. For those interested, look
here.
*Therefore the casualty rate of suitcase nuke, even in downtown area, would
probably be measured in tens of thousands rather than hundreds of thousands.
Now, we return to the regular thinking of thinkable instead of thinking the unthinkable...

I mean, it's not as if a nuclear explosion hasn't been portrayed on TV before. I guess the libs just couldn't handle it though. We had several mushroom clouds in the old scare-story "Day After." The difference was that in The Day After the bombs were part of the eeevil Cold War and warmonger America was getting what it deserved. Liberals were fine with that. They don't like the bomb in 24 because it is set off by their moslem terrorist friends and makes them look bad.
