President Bush met with United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon in the Oval Office today.
President Bush also welcomed the World Series Champion St. Louis Cardinals to the White House this afternoon.
Vice President Cheney was at the Pentagon speaking at the naming ceremony of the USS Gerald R Ford.
Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice continues her travels and meetings in the mid-east.
First Lady Laura Bush continues her three-day visit to France, touring a number of landmarks in Paris.
President Bush has proclaimed today (Tuesday January 16th) as "Religious Freedom Day." In the presidential proclamation, Bush said today commemorates the passage of the 1786 Virginia Statute for Religious Freedom, which was written by Thomas Jefferson, and to celebrate the First Amendment's protection of the right to worship freely.
The proclamation notes that people in other parts of the world don't enjoy the same liberty, and many face religious persecution. Bush calls the freedom of worship" a gift from the Almighty", and he says the United States, quote, "Must continue to promote the importance of religious freedom at home and abroad."
. . . you should be getting a little 'January surprise' in the mail soon!!
Thanks, Deb!
Glad I stopped back in before going to bed. :)
What a great resource of TRUTH you have provided!
He looks like he would be a football player. Do you know his mom and sister?

I'd guess the latter is true with most of them. I think they're mostly leftist trolls, with a few fuzzy memoried conservatives thrown in.
What I don't understand is why I didn't see your post. I must not have checked after I loaded them etc.
No problem...they are worth posting twice! I think I will print them out and take them to him.
Thanks again for this marvelous Dose, Justa.
Gotta get to bed now! G'nite all!
I think you are right plus also people who are not very well versed but have been told by others what Reagan was like.
This is such a cool picture. Makes me smile. :)
You are always on the phone or so you tell us LOL
Neither one were perfect and yes some mistakes were made
But when his is finally told .. President Bush will also be ranked as one of our best Presidents
I also want to say .. though I think it's wrong the media slams and attacks against President Bush .. I can at least understand why they do it
They are majority liberal and hate anything Conservative
What I can not understand is the pundits on OUR side .. if you criticize them .. they call you a koolaide drinker
I am sick of that BS .. so off goes my radio and TV
If I want to listen to that kind of BS .. I'd turn on Chris Matthews show
This photo is art. The composition tells many different stories. Kudos to the photographer!
They toss it around to get 'in' with the ubercons around here, and you're right..........they haven't got a clue as to what he really did.
The thing that makes me mad is that we have had two amazing Presidents in our lifetime, and these bozos are forcing us to criticize Reagan in order to defend Bush with the truth. We should be thanking the Lord in every post for both of these leaders, and not using one to bash the other as they are doing.
If they'd be honest about President Bush, no criticism of Reagan would be necessary.
NOW, I'm going to bed! Thanks for the freepmail about Mike.
Is Mike doing alright? . . . When you have the time, please freepmail me with an update!!
Thank you so much for posting that !
