Non-showering shouldn't be an issue as it all happens on ONE day.

I realize that, but if I had been in a nerve-wrenching, sweat producing situation since 6:00 AM, I know that by 2:00 PM I would not be looking so fresh, and these people don't even have a hair out of place, the men's ties still are perfect, etc. (LOL! I can't believe how much chat time I am devoting to a show that I have vowed never to watch again.)
Geez, it is a TV show. No TV show is realistic. Not even the news. It is entertainment. You don't like it , so do not watch it. However, it probably was more realistic than the Golden Globes.
