And that was not a problem when "Roots" did the same? Or the movie "JFK"?
Love the show, wouldn't miss it. Anyone notice when Jack broke into the car with the phone, he pulled out the wires under the dash to hotwire it? How could he steer it with the steering wheel still locked? Goes to show it's just TV...but entertaining TV!
Thanks ever so much...the last I saw was the kid went to the kitchen for the meds and grabbed a knife out of the sink and there was a tense moment when the kid was thinking about using the knife..then backed off. I crashed after that...it's tax season ya know. :)
"...It also tells us no matter how nice that Muslim neighbor is, they are definitely hiding something, and just might be that next out-of-the-closet terrorist..."
The words Trust But Verify are ones by which any responsible person should comport themselves.
I work with Muslim teammates and I'm very courteous to them. We share work resources and we enjoy lunch together. At the same time, I actively avoid acquiring a form of "Stockholm Syndrome" and always bear in mind they might very well know someone who wouldn't regret killing innocents for even a moment. Even though they're acquaintances and we spend hours working together, I would call the FBI instantly if I heard something funny being discussed in their cubicles. Anyone who treats Muslims the same way they treat their Protestant neighbors of English heritage is behaving in a truly delusional manner.

No, different kid. He's been in some flicks on the low budget side for 18-20 year olds.
I don't remember seeing if Curtis died. It's a possibility that they bring him back for something else.
In 24 though, things change and nothing is ever what it seems....
Did the father have a bumper sticker on his VW that said, "you can't hug a whale with nuclear arms"?
He had to be a parody of libs.

"No, Arabs reinforce stereotypes about Arabs."
My thoughts EXACTLY!!
WAIT A MINUTE! Stop the presses. We only saw the father for a few seconds. Is he one of the dudes in the detention camp that Walid (the bf of the lib sister) is trying to crack?
Did ANDNC show Sum of All Fears??
Pray for W and Our Troops
No weirder than him giving himself a haircut before being chained out to die.
24 has always been melodramatic. Look at what happens when somebody gets shot. "Bang, you're dead." Nevertheless it's a heck of a ride. I didn't think I'd missed it that much until I watched the finale from last season the other day. Yeah, I somehow managed to delete it from my DVR last spring as I was getting ready to watch it.
No, the father was originally supposed to deliver the package. When Fayed called Achmed, he told him he had to take his fathers place.
YEah, me too. I am perfectly cordial to them. But I haven't known ANY that I would trust further than I could toss them due to what a friend calls the "rug merchant mentality" by which the truth is whatever he/she can make you believe.
I'm sure straightforward, trustworthy, non-counterfeit musselmen exist, I just haven't seen any.
So it IS the father in the concentration camp. Wonder if it's the dude that handed the bf the water, or the boss dude that chastized him for talking to the african (non-arab muslim).
Oh - I didn't catch that! Thanks.
There's a difference between "feeding fear" and pointing out, very bluntly, what happens when you show weakness to terrorists.
I thought the dad should have called up Kal Penn for the address, and taken the gun that the man he killed had tried to use on him. Wander back home and open the door crying that he has been hurt, we need to change plans. Kal Penn was already almost in shock from his wound and the painkillers, and just walk up behind him (he has no reason to think dad had a gun) and just shoot him in the head.
Call the cops and tell them you have a part of a weapon that terrorists want to use, and the address where it's supposed to be delivered.
Dad had free access to a gun and wimped out. Kal wouldn't have seen it coming.
I watch the program. I don't study it. Sorry.
