Citizen I am going to post their photos and information. I just dont want anyone to get confused and think they are connected with this case.
Another thing that went through my mind as I was reading all the comments left in the guestbook by other people - so many people, all over the world, kept saying over & over - that they were praying for this child to be found.
The power of prayer is so powerful. Praise God!
Yes, I agree. And when you think about the fact that when he first saw the truck, he didn't know that later his friend would come up missing. Something made him make a good mental record of that truck, at that moment.
I guess he could have told his family that he adopted the boy (Shawn). There are plenty of kids in the STL area that need homes so he may have told his family that he adopted him.
But I wonder how he was going to pull off having the new boy around. Maybe the guy was a total loner and did not have contact with his family at all even though they lived in the same metro area.
The nose and ears are very different.

I think a heard the news say he comes from a large family.
It is weird though. You would think that Shawn would tell someone something.....
Local news is saying that Ben was allowed to watch TV in the apartment and that he saw his family begging for his abductor to release him on the TV while he was being held in the apartment.

Under other circumstances, he would have been immediately been brought to a hospital for thorough examination.
I wish the FBI had the resources to monitor those kinds of sites more closely, because I believe abductors probably do read and sometimes post on such sites as part of their sickness and perversions.
Channel 5 just said he grew up on Oakland Ave, and he told folks Swawn was his Godson.
The owner of Imos' gave a statement - said that he had worked there for over 20 years and no one ever suspected anything.

When I switched to the CBS station, they were reporting from a local children's hospital which I believe I understand that Shawn Hornbeck (and perhaps both) were taken to.

When Steven's kidnapper brought home another child Steven thought it was time to turn for help because he feared for the younger boy.
If he's been working at the same pizza parlor for 25 years, then he must be known to many, especially if he grew up in the same area.
From the perspective of the other employee, Devlin could not have been in Utah, Arizona, or elsewhere as he's been steadily employed for 25 years in that community.
If there is anyone in that city who knows this guy, I hope they all come forward and discuss him, so I can understand how the hell he got by with keeping a child for four years in plain view without anyone noticing.
you think? I showed my son (age 14) both of them side by side,and he thought the two didn't look alike in any way (and thought the skinny perv was creepier looking, FWIW).
Darned lucky too! He said he followed the truck for a bit and got a good look at it from behind.
