ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A St. Louis-based homebuilder is donating New a new house to Shawn Hornbeck and his family
McBride and Son Homes says the ranch-style home will be built on property where Shawn and his parents now live in Richwoods.
The basement will serve as an office for the Shawn Hornbeck Foundation, an organization that helps in the search for missing children.
The builder will announce details at an 11 a.m. news conference Tuesday in the St. Louis suburb of Chesterfield, One McBride Center Drive.
Shawn was missing for four years before he and Ben Ownby were rescued Jan. 12 from a suburban St. Louis apartment. Apartment dweller Michael Devlin faces charges in both cases.
Devlin, who has already pleaded not guilty in the kidnapping of Ben Ownby, will enter the same plea in connection with Horbeck's abduction.
That's according to Michael Kielty, Devlin's lawyer. He expects Devlin to be arraigned Friday on charges of kidnapping and armed criminal action in the Hornbeck case. However, a clerk at Washington County Associate Circuit Court says a date for the hearing has not been set.
Shawn was 11 when Devlin allegedly kidnapped him in 2002. Devlin also faces charges in neighboring Franklin County for the Jan. 8 kidnapping of 13-year-old Ben. He pleaded not guilty in that case on Thursday.
Both boys were found January 12th at Devlin's apartment in the St. Louis suburb Kirkwood.

I'll post this on the main boards and send a ping! Thanks!
I don't know who it was, just some "newsie" I didn't know, trying to make a name for himself on the backs of the Ackers family.
The point, though, was unmistakeable. Shawn talked to a cop about his missing bike. Shawn had access to this and was given that, by Devlin. Had friends. Slept over at other places. Had them over. Rode a bike out late and was stopped by cops for curfew. Had a girl friend. BUT HE DIDN'T TELL ANYONE, ASK FOR HELP, TRY TO ESCAPE, PHONE HOME, ETC.
Both the newsie and Greta said it was bizarre, and were just shaking their heads at the incredibility of it all.
