check 2035! If this is Shawn's dad than the report was wrong by a year when he died and he really died in 2000! Still, FOXNEWS IS WRONG! I'm calling them tomorrow and letting them hear it big time!

I just read that the name is Walter Hornbeck according to their website. I saw the bombshell. It was disgusting. Now the family will have to be dogged about that, when as far as we know it has nothing to do with this case.
A poster above included info about Shawn telling the pizza shop owner on the phone that his name was Shawn Wilcox, and that his dad was a friend of Mike Devlin's, when Shawn called that day and the owner couldn't understand who Shawn was and why he was at Michael's place. I hope nobody thinks this proves a connection between Shawn's dad and Devlin. The name Wilcox was made up and Devlin and Shawn told one lie after another to explain his presence at Devlin's apt.
Also, seems the best info we have is that his dad died in '99. If that's wrong, then those who should know are putting it out wrong.
Shame on Kimberly and FNC for this piece of garbage to pile on the family.

I think that Guilfoyle was just reporting what the Post reporter told her without checking the facts. This one could bite her, but that is what happens with all news in this day and age. They get it wrong. Every story that is reported has at least one thing wrong. In this case, it is a big detail.
Do any of them actually check facts? I don't know, but there are enough errors out there to make an educated guess of NO. They don't check their facts. They get it off of a wire and cobble it together to make a new story.

I heard the either KG or the NYP reporter say he was about 60 but not sure WHEN he was 60...maybe when Shawn was born. Something like that.
you know, when i was watching it did appear they guy was reading off on his facts and sounded like he wasn't sure of what he was reporting. Bad, bad!

If his dad was born in 1931, and Shawn was born in 1991, then his dad would've been 60 when Shawn was born.

In a post above, there seems to be official info that he died in 2000. We had info before that it was 1999. Pretty close. Anyway, the NYP reporter told KG that the man was charged with Sodomy in 2002. DUH.
Excuse me...I think they said "attempted Sodomy".
It's great for these kinds of uses, but rather infuriating from a website owner's perspective. I'm not sure how they can do it legally, considering they do not own all the material they are housing on their servers.

They may have 2 Hornbecks mixed up. Some the facts they have might be right but they may not know that Shawn's real father is dead. Maybe it is Walter Hornbeck's brother that is the sex offender.
I will have to see what the NY Post story says. It should be out by morning.
