You mean you LIKE it when Clinton and Carter show they have the guts to criticize sitting presidents? Would you have liked to hear these comments from Ford in the early 80's rather than now?

One thing that was an unspoken rule until Clinton left office was that former presidents KEPT THEIR MOUTHS SHUT about their predecessor(s).

Yes they did. Unfortunately Ford is no different than Clinton and Carter. He opened his mouth. Just because he asked the media to hold off until his death makes no difference.

No I don't like it...but if you're going to criticize be a man about about and offer up your ideas when you can be challenged. Ford's post mortem pot shots are worse than Carter and Clinton's constant criticisms because they can be refuted and challenged.
