Breaking..suspicious device at port of miami..
I might get on that ship but I don't think so!
I hear you.It is upsetting.
I'm watching the bomb-disposal unit guy working near the ship, now hes taking a walk back to the building.
>>According to Port of Miami spokeswoman, Andria Muniz-Amador, a cargo pallet has been discovered and may contain a large amount of C-4 explosives.
The pallet was discovered in an area located at Gate H, located right next to Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines Majesty of the Sea, which does have passengers on board who are preparing to embark later Monday afternoon.<<
I do not know. Just a guess on my part.
>>I'm starting to get the feeling this isn't a false alarm.<<
Yep, I got that fealing with the mention of one word: Dearborn.
nope, it's not..a pound of C4 can put a major hole in that ship..IF it's truly C4..I sure as heck hope they're checking the passenger manifest for that ship to see who, if anyone, was more than willing to go down with the ship..
I wasn't paying much attention but I had no idea until now they were from DEARBORN.
Some don't call it Dearbornistan for nothing!
That is the straw that breaks this camel's back and now I'm really suspicious.
You too?
Maybe they should move the passengers who want to board too. Most of them probably aren't going to be able to jump that far. ;)
>>I'm starting to get the feeling this isn't a false alarm.<<
Yep, I think the guys were released to see where they would go. Nothing happened so their greatest usefulness is as people to watch.
I'm sure it's just a "miscommunication." Confusion between C4 and K9, that sort of thing.
I was somewhat irritated. I don't know Florida. Knew nil about Lantana. I didn't even know the Super Bowl was going to be in Miami. When he/she posted that, I forwarded it to comments@foxnews.com I felt like a total jerk. ;)
Maybe he could have them re-arrested, his previous ruling just being a mere "miscommunication"?
You hoping for a Gator win? :0)
Happy to do whatever I can!
Also noted a little blurb on the CNN site about "Mysterious Barn Owl Deaths", though I can't seem to get ANY of the stinking video to work here.
On Fox:
WSVN is also reporting that flight restrictions have been placed over Port of Miami.
(apologies if already posted)
The cops should be more careful when handling explosives. They were lucky the charges were C4. If they were nitroglycerine charges... KABLOOOWIE!
Where is info on this item?
I've not yet heard about it.
What's so special about dead birds? Are there lots?
And if so - canaries to which the residents should pay attention?
So are they evacuating those passengers? I would be concerned that this is some sort of remote-controlled device (e.g. cellphone call). Not out of the woods with this.
