I go to Canada almost every summer, and almost every shop there accepts American money. If these guys want to accept Mexican pesos are are willing to handle the exchange issues, that's their right as private businesses.

We are in a demographic war with Mexico. 20% of Mexicos labor force is IN the USA.

Pesos should be so unpopular that to carry them and present them for currency should be cause enough to call the immigration control authorities.
