"As Democratic Party Chairman Dean points out in his latest communiqu to his kool-aid addicts, "Elections have consequences. Remember that saying? It was a favorite of George Bush and the pundits after his narrow [4 million vote] victory in 2004. In 2006 Americans sent a crystal clear message."
"The incoming chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee responsible for overseeing our nation's most guarded national security operations is not new to the position. He has held this position before and he has an impressive resume.
On November 14, 2005, former and soon-to-be again Senate Intelligence Chairman Jay Rockefeller (D-WV) proudly proclaimed on Fox News Sunday, "I took a trip by myself in January of 2002 to Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Syria, and I told each of the heads of state that it was my view that George Bush had already made up his mind to go to war against Iraq Ð that that was a predetermined set course which had taken shape shortly after 9/11."

It might be important to note that the actual work is done by professional bureaucrats and that the elected official is a figurehead. Granted the figurehead directs the work, but they don't usually stay in the position long enough to do serious, permanent damage to the department.

I fear it will take another attack upon our soil and peoples for Americans again realize what a bunch of self loathing, hate America comrades vast numbers of democrats are.
I fear for our nation.
If anytime Bush needs to take up a conservative mantle and lead the party, NOW is the time to do it.

He's the senator from Exxon in disguise. Dem bashing of oil companies is bogus. Exxon owns the NE and its politiicians. Rockefellers are the heirs to that empire.

Rocky has proved his willingness/eagerness to leak classified intel and aid enemy designs. Since he and his degenerate party are hellbent to cancel the administration at any cost, we may anticipate the strategic illegal leaking of any and all material which would hinder Bush's plans, regardless of how such treasonous behavior harms US or our military personnel ... democrats in power represent our greatest threat to national security, especially in a war on terrorism which the democrap party doesn't even acknowledge needs be waged.

Intelligence and the Senate is an oxymoron. The Senate and morons is redundant.

Wow! I'm almost speechless after reading this. Sure places a spotlight on how gullible the Sheople of this country have been in this past election. May our Lord watch over this country in the next few years.

Seems to me there should be some advertising how he's into 'big oil' and hammer this home constantly as they did about Halliburton and Iraq oil etc. Don't give old rocky a minutes rest on the issue http://sacredscoop.com
