I have a major question. They said that the driver was 20 years old dont you have to be 21 in order to drive commercial Vehicle??
I am becoming more and more concerned about the frequency of reports about Muslims in this country; it seems on a daily basis we have some sort of problem with them in their work.
And it seems they are forever demanding that we give in to something that they cannot or will not participate in. I expect we'll hear from CAIR about this.

Nothing to be concerned about. All they found was some large shiny CD or video in a case gadget, maybe a timed game of some sort, as a big clock in a large screen was ticking down apparently waiting for an opponent's move. No weapons or liquids found so no reason to hold them. The driver is waiting for a cab as he says he was not trained how to back up the big rig. /sarc
Hysteria by the press is the norm. It's nothing new and it's what they do. It's also useful to observe that the press reports on ANY topic are *always* wrong at some level. Not just almost always, but *always*. Reporters value immediacy more than accuracy, and sensationalism over sense.
Stuff like this is always going to happen when people that have no idea what they're talking about are the ones selecting and filtering what they hear and pass on to us, and just like the whisper-game... get it at least a little wrong in the process.
I wouldn't bet on a cover-up by the Feds. They want to be the big hero (and that's OK) and would love a chance to trumpet a big find on live TV. There's no point in covering up stuff like this.
Yesterday, he and Julie Banderas seemed so disappointed that there weren't any cars sent over the edge of the mountain in Colorado...and no deaths to report...sigh
BTW...sorry it took so long for me to reply...I hit a link someone posted on FR..and it made my computer go absolutely CRAZY..I couldn't even get it to shut down for the longest time.

I don't know what the answer to this is. A great many of them hold ideas that are incompatible with our society. Freedom of worship is part of our national heritage, and yet I feel we are being used. I share your concern.
Then again, both of those could be true.
