Never had them myself but have known plenty of people who have and they always seem loyal and friendly dogs.

My favourite photo of the VP's dog Dave is this one the way he is sitting so close to the VP's foot showing complete trust

Couldn't agree more, since I now have two full time and three that I co-own!

I like them better than my kids-they don't talk back, and they don't ask for money....

The best dog I ever had was a Golden Retriever named Chauncey...a gentle giant weighing 134 lbs.....gentle until or if anyone or anything was threatening me. Then, he turned into an attack dog par excellence. (I still mourn his death.)
