The Alternative Minimum Tax is going to hit a whole lot of people who are going to be very unhappy about it. Brit points out that it will be hard to fix that with "pay-go" in place. Hoyer tap dances around that like a typical dem.

I concur with your reviews. My husband LOVES Giada, and we can surmise why. LOL! She does cook things that are quite good, however.
I am a non-Ray fan. For best down home cooking I really like Paula Deen's recipes.
Once my husband and I made egg rolls from an Emeril recipe. They were pretty good but the eight egg rolls cost us almost 40 dollars in ingredients, so our chief lesson was in what a bargain the egg rolls from our local Chinese restaurant really are! HA!

Hoyer doesn't think they can override a veto of federal funding for embryonic stem cell research. I hope not.
Hoyer it appears intends to legislate based on polls.

You know, it occurs to me that the networks have finally hit maximum boredom level even for me, and I am a political junky of over 40 years standing.
Otherwise, why would we all be discussing the merits of various cooks on the Food Network?
OK...I will try to keep quiet until I can report some actual news. I am monitoring Fox now.

After about 200 posts it is obvious that we did not miss a thing... We are now like those congressmen who get all their info from staff, not from first-hand study and exposure. Boy, have you diagnosed that right!
Most of these shows are now dreadfully unwatchable, totally predictable, and little more than Sunday exercises in Liberal self-pleasuring which is their substitute for going to church.

Our daughter is getting married in Savannah soon.
The rehearsal dinner will be at Paula Deens. Her restaurant has a private dining room and we can hardly wait.

He may well be but I would suggest that is because he prefers Gates to Rumsfeld so he is inferring that before with Rumsfeld at DOD that the President was not going in the right direction. Sorry, Snugs. We disagree on this. He wasn't inferring anything of the sort. He was referring to the surge in troops.

I see you feel the same way I do about Joe Biden.
To: Mo1
Did Biden just say sending 20,000 - 40,000 more troops is not enough?

I hope she tries.
At least it will force some of our esteemed legislators to come out of their holes and show us something.
