I'm caucasian. Can I celebrate this holiday too? Or is it an innately racist holiday?

A few years back, in Boston, Kwaazai celebrants wouldn't let a white reporter in to observe the "festivities".

No, you may not.

In Las Vegas a few years back, a white woman who was married to a black man took their son to a community Kwanzaa party and was asked to leave because "her presence would confuse the other children about Kwanzaa."

Actually, it was a black-only holiday, but they have opened it up to be more inclusive in recent years and whitie is now allowed to join in the celebration. So few blacks actually bothered with it they had to open it up.
