The vilification of Nixon continues with the MTP roundtable.
Now they turn to "What was the biggest story of '06". Eugene Robinson pretends that he didn't know he's be asked that. Says the elections were a collective stamping of their feet by the voters.

Happy New Year M01-actually it may work to our advantage to just watch the shows go down to the bottom. Leaves more of an audience for us here on the web. We are the future-- they are the past.

Wallace is asking if Krystol was outraged in the way Saddam's trial & execution was carried out
Bill basically said No

(Miss Marple agrees with the President...I don't take them seriously, either.)Absolutely brilliant!
Though the Bob Dolish 3rd person reference was a bit disturbing... <g>

What's up with Krauthammer (sp)? He's claiming a majority of the world and Americans are skeptical of Saddam's trial and execution.
He thinks this will hurt more than help.

Happry New Year, rodguy911
actually it may work to our advantage to just watch the shows go down to the bottom. Leaves more of an audience for us here on the web. I agree .. but at the same time we have to realize that many still get their news from TV

What's up with Krauthammer (sp)? He's claiming a majority of the world and Americans are skeptical of Saddam's trial and execution I don't get that either
I also don't get why some are so upset with this
Why they need a trial to be reminded of all the horrible things Saddam did is beyond me
I would think they would read the news they report

The reliving of Watergate is becoming orgiastic. And they're also constantly reliving Vietnam in regards to Iraq. It's sad to see old people trying to recapture their "glory days," especially if they weren't that glorious to begin with. In fact their "glory days" were pretty evil and disgusting if you look at them closely and honestly.
Somewhere some serious and already accepted voice in the drive by media will actually take up the challenge and do a serious review of the pseudo histories of both these topics and the "conventional wisdom" and the DBM heroes won't come off well.
It started with the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth. It won't end there.

What's up with Krauthammer (sp)? He's claiming a majority of the world and Americans are skeptical of Saddam's trial and execution. He thinks this will hurt more than help. Is this the "elite" position now? Whether it "hurts" or "helps" is irrelevant. We had the execution of a mass murderer. Did he question whether the execution of Adolf Eichmann "hurt" or "helped"?
To: rodguy911
I don't think Wallace is a Rat like his father .. but I also wouldn't call him a conservative .. As for FNC .. they don't claim to be a 100% conservative news station and they don't hire only conservatives

I bet Krauthammer is generically anti-death penalty.
I always think with compassion of the people who have to guard evil criminals who should have had death sentences carried out. What they have to do is so difficult, and yet they rarely or never are given a thought by all the anti-death penalty folks. These guards are "little" people, not like the celebrity criminals, and so they are invisible, but their lives (and their families' lives) have to be affected by the job that they do.

Always remember who Krauthammer works for. Keep in mind that Juan and Mara are on the public dole-NPR. At least Charles and Bill work for private enterprises.
