**so hard to do, the more I think of it (quitting) the more I find myself smoking...**
Kindred spirits.
I too got the very bad cold and cough in November - still coughing - and smoking. My husband is sooooo expasperated. I'm saying I'll quit January 1. But I'm smoking like a chimney right now too. Oyyyyyy.
The patches do work, I used them several years ago, and stopped for 7 months. I started up again, who knows why.
Freeping and smoking go hand in hand, I'm afraid. I might not be able to Freep too much. Maybe I should move the computer - I never smoke upstairs, because I can't stand the stink when I'm trying to sleep!!
Maybe we could have a support group?
(sorry to everyone else for the off topic)
Yes, we could! Maybe I'll put one up on the 2nd and we can start then, huh?
BTW, when we moved into this house, I vowed never to smoke inside..............I love my deck though, but it has cut down on the smoking. (Sometimes I wish I had a teeny tiny balcony off this bonus room though!).
First off, move the ashtray away from your computer....lol.
I am having a hard time occasionally, because although I am not craving nicotine due to the patches, I LIKED smoking!
I bought myself a Binaca Blast breath spray and that helps.
When I get discouraged I pray and think about how I don't want the democrats to get my tax money. The last time I quit for a year was when Clinton decided to increase the cigarette tax.
I keep thinking about the money I will save. Keeps me going.
sounds like a plan!
