The General has just escorted Mrs. Ford to the top of the Capitol steps.
(Thanks for the pics!)

Bless you, Starwise. So good of you to be timely with the photos.
Dear Mrs. Gerald Ford stands at the top of the Capitol steps, awaiting her husband's casket.
I believe the Ford family is well grounded in their Christian faith.
To: STARWISE
I was just thinking the same thing.God bless her.

The other thing she said OFTEN was.."well..he's the only dem I ever voted for"....LOL. My dem mother only voted against two Dems .. Carter and Clinton .. she hated them
Reagan she loved and if anyone spoke ill of "her Ronnie" she would rip them to shreds *L*
President Ford's casket is going on the steps ... Betty looks very tired

Sounds like we'll be spared them sleeping through this funeral, as well as the presence of dingy harry and a few other turncoats.

She looks great at 88. Also, I am just so touched by this. I remember how the press ridiculed him.
