Thank you both. Unfortunately what is being witnessed are the 'circuses'. While I know Hussein's punishment should be carried out for his crimes, the sentiment at the time of a criminal's death should not be acceptable as the norm in a civilized society.

Those affected by Hussein's crimes have some right to rejoice, but this....no

There is no shame in celebrating the delivery of justice - be it swift or horribly delayed.

Saddam's actions affected the entire world in some ways.

And WOW, has FR slowed to a snail's pace!

So what you are kind of saying is, only those who have been affected have the right to celebrate? Well, that kind of sounds contrary to me, since everyone posting here was likely 'affected' by his crimes in one way or another.

What degree of the 'affect' will merit your threshold for celebration?

Oh, and I just heard on Fox that he is DEAD!

Your faux concern for civilized society is noted. Civilized society should certainly celebrate the demise of a mass murderer like Saddam. Your agenda is showing.

LOL. Is it okay by you if we rejoice for those who were victims of Hussein's crime?

GMAFB! What an absurd distiction you make.
