Are the Dem voters impressed by his hair-styling ability?
Are the Dem voters aware of his family tragedies?
Did Dem voters think he was an asset on the Kerry/Edwards ticket?
Do Dem voters know his voting record?
Answer - Yes....... but they are still stupid.
Looking forward to the Oprah episode featuring Edwards and his wife as "survivors" (political and medical).
Good. Easy mark for the Republicans. And Hillary is running behind him. Guffaw.
King of all slip-and-fall lawyers, John Edwards poses for the cameras with a shovel which is no longer being produced due to a crippling lawsuit he brought against the company, successfully putting them out of business in 2005.
Dems will use Nawlins as a backdrop to suggest that GWB should have rebuilt every house in LA regardless of if it was insured privately, or foolishly uninsured and regardless that the government never rebuilds private property.
Do you have any link to info about that shovel company lawsuit?
Great stuff...
Doesn't the Breck Girl know that showing up for photo ops in such spiffy clean, pressed, and starched "work clothing" does not exactly make him look like a "man of the people" who can get his hands dirty.... it makes him look like just another dorky condescending pol pretending to care...... he doesn't even look like he's ever broken a sweat in manual labor for 20 minutes of his life. His manicured fingernails might get dirty if he holds that shovel for more than a few seconds at a time....
What are his accomplishments/qualifications for the job?
He's pretty?
Although Edwards has many, many negative aspects (and I could never, ever vote for him), I think he could show surprising strength because he's latched onto a real issue that resonates with a lot of voters, whether Republican or Democrat: the belief that the average working man/woman isn't getting ahead in today's economy. If he's smart, Edwards can get a lot of mileage out of this issue.
In one of Edwards' silver-tongued arguments to the jury on behalf of a girl born with cerebral palsy, he claimed he was channeling the unborn baby girl, Jennifer Campbell, who was speaking to the jurors through him:
"She said at 3, 'I'm fine.' She said at 4, 'I'm having a little trouble, but I'm doing OK.' Five, she said, 'I'm having problems.' At 5:30, she said, 'I need out.'"
"She speaks to you through me and I have to tell you right now -- I didn't plan to talk about this -- right now I feel her. I feel her presence. She's inside me, and she's talking to you."
She's saying, "My lawyer needs a new Jaguar ... "
Lets just say he is a little left of metrosexual.
I was just joking around.
"The Silky Pony Rides Again"
LOL--I was thinking the same thing. "My little pony, my little pony..."
Not to mention all of his stories about "the mill."
For someone out working with a shovel in the dirt, he sure has a CLEAN shirt and pair of pants, even Silky Pony's shoes look brand spankin' new! What a man of the people--LOL!
Big deal, mush mouth rides again.
