Why stop at weddings? Why not include Bnai Mitzvahs? Time to stop those disgusting catered affairs.

The lefitst-liberal, secular "Jews" will cease to exist as an identifiable part of Judaism/Jewry.
It's the pious (and notably fertile) community of Orthodox Jews that will be the future of the chosen people.

If this were an article about black - white intermarriage being a regrettable thing for one of the races, would the Times run it, I wonder?

Jews marrying Gentiles?

The funny thing is, I was just on another thread that was worrying if or how one prominent group is not assimilating the way some folks would want them to.

Here's a question, what kind of a 'newspaper' would run the similar and yet opposite story? Decrying Gentiles marrying Jews or (worse) converting?

Amazing how so small a change utterly changes the perception of the would-be writer (and justifiably so).

And, with all of this going on, Jews still found some way to force Cynthia McKinney from office by stealing the election. Amazing.

Even though I'm Jewish, every woman I've dated has been Christian. There was one time I seriously discussed marriage with one of these women. She is a committed christian. We are no longer dating but we still talk frequently. I've always admired women with strong faith and religous convictions, whether they're christian or jewish. I know a lot of people won't agree with this but I say if you both love each other, then its ok to tie the knot, regardless of your background. Jews are the least likely to intermarry in New York City, although many of them do date gentiles. For Jews who live in the midwest or south, where there's few Jews, if they marry, more than likely, it will be to a non Jew. On my mom's side of the family, one of my cousins, who is a very devout Israeli Jew, married an American christian woman. They got married in Cyrprus, because Rabbis in Israel won't marry Jews and gentiles. I hope I find my soulmate in the near future. It really doesn't matter to me if shes Jewish or Christian.

So if Adam and Steve marry according to Conservative Judaism, does it matter that Steve is Hindu, but not that he is gay?

Hey, if someone doesn't want to marry me, I'm ok with that.
