Probably bring the G-3, SKS, and M-1 Carbine. Maybe a 10/22 to loan to any kids that might show up. They can always stay in the car until needed.
The Bullet trap has a great rifle range, although it doesn't have all that many positions. Light rifles, such as the SKS, AR-15, etc, can be fired on the "party" range alongside the pistols and "serious social purposes" shotguns.
If I am able to make it, my kids will be there too. We may be flying, so Crys wont be able to bring her .22, and would be pleased if you would let her use yours.
Got another new toy...But you probably already know about it...
I went old school and bought a Marlin 1895 lever action riffel...
I haven't shot it yet, and have a front and rear set of "Williams Firesight(s)" inbound due to arrive next week hopefully...
I am considering naming this rifle "TexasCowboy" just before the first shot I take with it...I know he'd be laughing all over me if I put the first shot in the dirt...Or maybe he'll reach down and guide my hand, as this things' going to kick like a team of mules...
Man this is a big rifle...
I'm also going to have to take up reloading, as the ammo for this one is not cheap! Box of 20 will set you back $32...
