Just heard from Julia Lewis on TV.
Nifong filing to dismiss rape charges. Will keep SA and kidnap charges.
Looks more like subliminal target practice by the AP. The message is "kill the bastard."
Aren't is what I meant to type. Nifong's praying that the defense will go for it.
Metaphorically speaking, Discovery has landed on Nifong. ;)
Please explain what you mean, more fully about "Alia, I think this was intended to do just the opposite". I like to hear what you are thinking.
hehehe
>>>I know this shouldn't go to trial, but in a wierd way I was really looking forward to seeing her ripped to shreds on the stand.<<<
Nah...I didn't want to see that. She's a drug-addled crack whore, and really to be pitied. She was judicially (juridically?) raped by Nifong.
Nifong is the one I want to see on the stand in a civil trial with the three Lacrosse players as his accusers. I want to see him humiliated, bankrupted, and disgraced forever.
Going to go watch the presser. Be back later.
Based on the evidence so far made public, what is your reasoning to support trying to indict against these 3?
marajade = ignore
"Based on the evidence so far made public, what is your reasoning to support trying to indict against these 3?"
Bringing an indictment didn't include any public evidence.
I have an attorney question. So any attorney or informed non-attorney please chime in:
If a witness in court claims a defendant committed a crime that is not alledged in the indictment, what happens?
That is if Mangum mentions the word rape on the stand is it a mistrial with prejudice?
Shhhhhhh! Probable cause evidence is top secret classified information. Nifong has something, he is just not at liberty to clue everyone else in.
OT: ABC's Brian Ross plays a message from the jihadists who say that Democrats didn't win the November election. Muslims won the election.

Oh you know the answer to that one. I just hope it's televised. LOL.
thx - marked for later
Well yeah, even if she shopped at Payless, she paid full price ($15?) for the first pair of shoes she bought! Although, I would assume that she wore stilettos (work requirement) and the only part of her work wardrobe that actually doesn't need to come off. ;)
Waiting to read the apologies from those who posted attacks against FR posters who questioned the accuser in this case...
Waiting...waiting...waiting...
"Nifong you P-O-S..."
Spot-on.
Judge: "Mr. Nifong, is it true that you have only just interviewed your victim and you have concluded that there will be no rape charge? And, is it true that you will be charging them with kidnap and sexual assault?"
Nifong: "Yes your honor."
Judge: "I see. Can you explain briefly your line of reasoning?"
Nifong: "Well, your honor, the girl went to the house voluntarily at first, but when she took her clothes off, they were staring at her and attacking her with their eyes. It was a sexual assault with their eyes. Then later, when one of them helped her to her car, he touched her precious and virginal buttocks your Honor. Therefore it is clear that a sexual assault took place."
Judge: "I see. Can you advance your theory of a kidnap?"
Nifong: "Yes your honor. After she ended her dancing, the hooligans were angry at her and told her to leave. Since she was there of her own free will, their demand that she leave was an attempted kidnap. Then, later, when she was drunk on her ass, and she was carried to the car, a kidnap occurred because she had originally wanted to stay and earn more money. These hooligans clearly made her leave from a place where she wanted to stay your Honor."
Judge: (Silently to himself, "Dear Lord, how did this ever get this far?")
Is that ignorant tramp still on the air, and why am I not surprised? I knew there was a reason why I don't watch Court TV.
