As I get older, I more and more understand Mother Church's stance on contraception and artificial procreation. So many of hte problems we face as a society come down to "letting go and letting God,"

You know, I am struck by how often the Church was right and society acts like the ill effects were a big surprise. Remember when Pope Paul wrote the encyclical telling us that artificial birth control would lead to promiscuity, divorce, illegitimate pregnancies, abortions, and the degradation of women? The press carried on like he had asked for witches to be burned.
Yet now, look at our society. He was right.
