Fair enough. I thought I had been agreeing with some of your comments earlier on the thread. But, I found the suggestion over the line.

I'm suggesting that the expectations should be clear. If there are cases where we're simply not going to attempt a rescue, then we should set it out. IN BOLD TYPE

Otherwise, I think we all assume that if we're in known trouble, people will try to come to our assistance.
