What you fail to realize is that Swift was voluntarily enrolled, at their expense, in fedguv's pilot employee verification system.

The goal is to get more employers to voluntarily participate. The Swift raid will cause employers to not want to participate.

Bottom line, fewer illegals will be detected.

Well, of course they will not be detected if the employer decides not to follow the agreement they agreed to. (and aren't caught)

Ben, there's nothing hard to figure out here. Swift just figured it could sign an agreement which Swift figured the govt. would not enforce, then Swift flouted the agreement and signed up lots and lots of illegals, directly or indirectly. They completely gutted the terms of the agreement!

They're obviously guilty.
