Gardenia Zakrzewski Johansson
The Scottsdale woman under investigation by state authorities for leaving her toddler in the car this week while shopping at Neiman Marcus had left her child unattended the week before while she went jewelry shopping in north Scottsdale and later went to Starbucks with her dog, according to a police report.
Gardenia Zakrzewski Johansson, 39, shopped calmly for about 20 minutes at Hodson Jewelry Gallery, 8924 E. Pinnacle Peak Road, before telling employees I have a baby in my car, can you watch him while I go to Starbucks? according to the report.
A jewelry store employee contacted Scottsdale police on Wednesday after seeing Johanssons mugshot in the newspaper -- the same day the woman made headlines for leaving her 2-year-old boy in the care of valet parking attendants at Scottsdale Fashion Square.
The statements of three employees who said they witnessed the jewelry store incident on Dec. 4 were taken in the report, which was released today.
One of the employees said she was God smacked by the question and asked the woman, Where are you going?
Zakrzewski Johansson then turned and left, according the report. She stopped by her car and picked up her dog and headed to Starbucks.
The child was without care for 30 to 40 minutes, the report states.
She most likely said "gobsmacked".
Reporters are idiots, but that's redundant.

Where's the father?
This woman sounds completely nuts.
Maybe she was smacked by God...
Or not...
I'm reasonably sure that would leave a mark.

You can take a dog to Starbucks?
I think it would be safe to guess the child has been without care since he was born.
At least she didnt leave the dog in the car alone. We can thank PETA for that.>>>>S<<<
You know, you not too far from the truth, sad to say.
you = you're
"This woman sounds completely nuts."
Yes, it certainly does seem as though she is totally detached from reality. Her behavior falls, IMO, into the "space cadet" category. Either that or it might be the old cliche of "she's on something". Any way you slice it she shouldn't be taking care of a child. On further consideration, I don't think that I would trust her with the dog,.......OR behind the wheel of a car.
The dog, unlike the baby, was probably housebroken.
Solitary confinement for the rest of her life.
"God smacked"??
Previous poster is right, the phrase is "gobsmacked"
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/gobsmacked
but having said that, I believe this so-called 'mother' *should* be God smacked for abandoning her child repeatedly!
Thank God temperatures weren't high.
My thoughts exactly, for a second there I was worried that she would leave the dog as well......
Some people should not have children
He's out working to support her shopping habit.
She is not the only nut out there.
I had a woman this week ask me to watch her kid while she ran back out to the car to get her wallet?
Thank goodness for the grandmotherly lady that had the hutzpah to tell the lady she was being 'unreasonable'
