Carter is an orthodox peacenik posing as a heretic. Maybe that's the real reason he has declined to debate.No, you idiot, that's probably notthe real reason he declined to debate.
The real reason he declined to debate is that Dershowitz could --- and probably would --- expose Carter as an antisemitic hypocrite, applying one standard of judging "apartheid" to the Jews and a completely different standard to the Muslims (who, in fact, practice real apartheid against all "dhimmis" everywhere in the Middle East).
In fact, Dershowitz could --- though he probably wouldn't --- expose Carter as an anti-American traitor posing as a "statesman".
I would love to see two leftists at each other's throats. Please, Jimmy, take him on.

Carter would have trouble looking good in a debate with a piece of chicken poop.

The other two are "forcible annexation of Palestine" or a negotiated peace...
You forgot the fourth option, the only one not already rejected by the Palestinians, the expulsion, if not the extermination, of the Jews.

The Globe, disgusting little rag that it is, is far too soft on the old gasbag. He makes me sick to my stomach, and embarassed for the weakness we showed in the 70s.
