I would not hold my breath on any of these rumors of the state bar acting against Nifong. They have publically said, they will not investigate this case until it is over.

So until they announce publically that they are doing something different, I view these internet posts as just rumors. Other than Congressman Jones everyone in a position of authority in NC including Brohead seems not to care in the least bit.

IMHO,the only person who can file a complaint against Nifong to the Bar (in this case), is the person "harmed".

There are cases where licensees have committed a felony and not reported it when updating their license and it is caught by someone else or unauthorized use of Official seals.

Usually, the review by the bar is not public. Only the results are made public.

We had five attorneys disbarred several years back. They were borrowing from excrow accounts. Five year suspensions and fines and retribution.
