The President and First Lady spent the weekend at the White House attending church as usual and also attended Christmas in Washington an annual Christmas event which was taped on Sunday.
Today the President and Vice President met with the Secretary of State at the State Department to discuss the situation in Iraq.
Over the weekend the outgoing Secretary of Defense Don Rumsfeld made a farewell visit to the troops in Iraq.

I considered turning around and beating them over the head. LOL! After all the practice you've had "debating" the past 4 months, one would have thought you could have done some series damage! ;*)

Doing well, just very busy - I check out the dose in the mornings most days.
To: onyx
Nope - just tooooooo busy. But I check in and read up on everyone in the morning. I really miss being here in the evenings. Even when I do stop in, it's usually just for about 15 minutes. Not really enough time to chat much.
To: goodnesswins
Gee whiz! I was wondering the same thing!

LOL! I made a couple posts and then went back to see what Tom DeLay had to say. ;*)

RE: Rumsfield:"This President is almost a victim of the success he has had with preventing another attack on America."
^^^^^^
I stopped reading Peggy Noonan's columns when she turned against President Bush but today I happened to see an excerpt of her words in the Washington Times. Paraphrased, President Bush does not look like the war is affecting him, because he almost always has a serene demeanor.
She is showing her lowclass roots when she is so snide. I guess she would be happier if he collapsed in a depression.

That was so awesome! I wish they could have removed some of the background noise.
I plan to watch the re-run with paper and pen. Our guys had some amazing things to say.....off the tip of top of their heads, not prepared remarks.
They sure liked what jon carry had to say, huh? LOL!
