Looking at the bones in this pic, I just don't get how this is the "Smoking Gun" that verifies we evolved from apes......

Common ancestor actually, not evolved from apes.
Not only that but if you read the real story about Lucy you will find that some of "her bones" were found a half mile or so away from the rest of them which tells me that all the bones are not from the same ape. These idiots will go to any length rather than admit they are pushing a loser.
