This undertone in the report that Israel is at the heart of the Middle East problem and specifically Iraq, is an intensely kooky view of the World. Israel is not the motivation for Al Queda, or the factions in Iraq. This report is left wing and anti-semitic wishful thinking.
You are right about that. Iraq is about Iraq, , Iran, Syria, WoT and the US. They overlap at points, but NOWHERE is Israel/palestinian issue involved. Al Qaeda is like MoveOn.org- it originally was about us being in Saudi Arabia, not it has morphed into "Kill Christians, Jews & Those That Side With Them."
It should be said, though, that Israel is the one unifying force in the Muslim world. They're so anti-Semitic that no matter how often they hate each other, the corrupt leaders can raise the Star of David and they'll turn around and start shooting towards Tel Aviv.
Precisely. Baker is essentially a socialist, and the man who famously said " F... the Jews!" a few decades ago. This is the man who had the brilliant idea to persuade Ronald Reagan to raise taxes.
