Theresa Marie Schindler was born to Robert and Mary Schindler on December 3, 1963. She was the first of three children the Schindlers would have.
Terri was a shy, but comical, child who had an affinity for music, animals and the arts. She kept a small circle of friends and was dear to schoolmates, neighboring families and her own extended family.
Following high school, Terri came into her own. She developed a knack for sketching and doodling. She enjoyed outings with her friends. She was an adoptive mother to the familys dog, Bucky.
Terri attended Catholic School while growing up and remained close to her faith throughout her life.
In 1983, Terri met Michael Schiavo at Bucks County Community College and the two began dating. He was the first romantic interest Terri had.
The couple was engaged within a few months and married a year later at Terris church in Southampton, Pa. She was 21.
In 1986, Terri and Michael relocated to Pinellas County, Florida and her parents followed three months later.
In 1990, at the age of 26, Terri suffered a mysterious cardio-respiratory arrest for which no cause has ever been determined. She was diagnosed with hypoxic encephalopathy neurological injury caused by lack of oxygen to the brain. Terri was placed on a ventilator, but was soon able to breathe on her own and maintain vital function. She remained in a severely compromised neurological state and was provided a PEG tube to ensure the safe delivery of nourishment and hydration.
On March 31, 2005, Terri Schindler Schiavo died of marked dehydration following more than 13 days without nutrition or hydration under the order of Circuit Court Judge, George W. Greer of the Pinellas-Pascos Sixth Judicial Court. Terri was 41.
What are you talking about? The media DOES ADORE Mohammed.
Any word on whether this poor girl's organs were harvested?
San Antonio -- The 5-year-old girl injured in the same house fire that killed former state Sen. Frank Madla and his mother-in-law died Sunday.
University Hospital spokeswoman Lauren Graham said the family of Aleena Jimenez, Madla's granddaughter, took the girl off life support Saturday afternoon.
Commentary from BB: I'm getting really sick of reading about people being charged for someone's death, when the person(s) directly responsible for that death is/are held blameless. If you beat someone to within an inch of their life, and then someone else takes advantage of their weakened state, and kills them, I think you bear some responsibility, but not the entire blame.

DALLAS Police today arrested a 14-year-old boy accused of causing the
death of his 6-year-old foster sister by body slamming her at least four
times.
DeSoto police investigators said the boy threw Katherine Frances to the
ground on Sunday, causing her to be hospitalized.
Katherine died Tuesday. Doctors said she had suffered severe head trauma and
was brain dead. Her biological mother, Marbella Frances, said she decided to
disconnect the child from a life support system.
Commentary from BB:
Some people lose children they truly love, and some people just aren't meant
to have children. It baffles me why a couple would choose to kill their own
kids because they're not up to their standards of perfection, and then mourn
their loss, as if they loved them just the way they were. "A person is a
person, no matter how small," but brain damage is another matter entirely.
They act like spoiled kids who got a used bicycle for Christmas, instead of
the shiny new mountain bike they asked for.

SAN JACINTO - People ask Mark and Teri Blanton why they continue to mourn
the loss of their infant twins after all this time.
Mark Blanton's answer is simple: "A person is a person, no matter how
small."
For the fourth year, the Hemet couple will host a candlelight vigil for
bereaved parents. It will be held Dec. 10 at Valley-Wide Recreation and Park
District headquarters in San Jacinto.
Mark Blanton said it took him and his wife almost four years to conceive a
child. They spent nearly $150,000 to have their sperm and eggs harvested and
artificially joined. Some of the embryos were frozen for later use, but one
implant ended up splitting to become the twins.
There were also a couple of adoption efforts along the way.
Chance Alan Blanton arrived premature, weighing 1 pound, 6 ounces and
measuring just under 12 inches long. Chase came three minutes later at 1
pound, 7 ½ ounces and 11 ½ inches long.
Initially, it seemed like they would survive, Mark Blanton said, but six
days later doctors at Kaiser Permanente Riverside Medical Center said the
boys had developed serious bleeding in the brain.
"We wanted our sons to have lives, just not live. Under these conditions,
they wouldn't," Teri Blanton said.
The couple decided to remove them from life support. Chance died early Dec.
27 and his brother followed later that day.
"When we left the hospital the night of the 27th carrying two memory boxes
instead of two healthy twin babies, I told Mark I couldn't try again," Teri
Blanton said. "He gently grabbed my chin to make me look at him and simply
said, 'What if my mom would have given up, I wouldn't be here.' "
In 2004, another of the couple's frozen embryos was implanted. Today, Rylee
is a healthy 2-year-old, and Teri Blanton is again pregnant.

They know him not.
Now, Slick Willie was no match for Mohammed, who (if I recall a snippet of Rabelais rightly) "in his Alkoran doth vaunt the testiculatory prowess of two score bully ruffians." In case the modern mind stumbles over that, Mohammed was bragging that he could outhump 40 Gangstas. Which is a HUGE amount of bragging.
Let us suppose that the newslady named Nina, sucking up to powerful politicians as usual, made this offer to Mohammed. She would need her own tireless efforts plus those of 39 of her feminist sisters just to calm him down. That's a HUGE number of kneepads.
As I said, they know him not. It will be interesting when they find out :-)
They certainly are unaware that secular atheists such as themselves would be among the first beheaded.
But sir, she said "head," not "behead."
There must be an easier way to get in the dictionary though... Shame on the media and the government for their betrayal!
This should be sent to Worldnetdaily!
Excellent!!!!
I pray for Terri's family to find comfort in knowing they will see her again. No family should ever have to go through what they did.
I wish to thank everyone on this thread who fights for those who can't, you guys do a great job! Keep up the good work. I wish I had more time to spend on FR but school keeps me busy.
A little off topic but I can't pass up an opportunity to point out that this thread and those of you on it are very popular "out there". People hang on your every word...:) Maybe they will learn something.
Big man Michael is. He even had her cats killed and cremated. Wasn't his fault according to him though, his mother in law made him do it.
Bull. The vet protested the euthanasia and offered to place the cats in new homes. Michael refused. He killed them because he wanted to kill them. Whether the hatred was toward Terri, the cats or both doesn't much matter. There was no good reason to kill the cats.
Oops. I'd better not do any more Nina Burleigh jokes :-)
This child, like Haleigh Poutre, was battered in a foster home after being placed there by an agency that is supposed to protect children. This child died. Haleigh survived, but barely. We hear this sort of tale much too often. Something is rotten in the state "child protection" agencies.
Glad to see your posts. Wish you were online more often although I realize it is not always easy.
Good to hear the positive feedback! Thanks.

Terri Schiavo Spiked by News & Govt

Judges always benefit but justice seems to be left out in the cold with no gloves, hat or warm blanket. Justice is like the homeless person on a cold winter's day.
Bless you and your family. If this country had more families like yours, there would be less cynicism and more humanity.

WND led me to Pinnelas Park to become a Terri warrior.
I look forward to your superb investigative journalists
helping to bring Michael Schiavo and judge Greer to
justice for judicial homicide!

Terri Schiavo made your top 10 list in 2005. However, it is difficult not to take notice of how the mainstream media continues to do what they can to justify what Michael Schiavo and the courts did to her.
From the beginning the popular media missed most of the story. When Michael Schiavo admitted in 1994 that he intended to marry the woman he was living with once Terri was dead, he effectively abandoned her. Despite this, and the fact that the hearsay testimony of Terris wishes suddenly surfaced eight years after her still unexplained collapse, Judge George Greer ruled to end Terris life.
There is much more the media continues to incorrectly report. However, if anyone would take the time to look into the facts of this case, it would be difficult not to recognize that this was one of the most egregious miscarriages of justice ever to have taken place in our nation.
We can only hope that what happened to my sister will one day be exposed.
OPERATION SPIKE... The most under-reported, covered-up stories of 2006

Remember everything we were told about the 2004 election? You know, the one held on the day the Enlightenment died, when America was conquered by Jesusland. The religious right had already taken over the Republican Party; with the re-election of President Bush and GOP gains in both houses of Congress, it seized control of the entire United States government.
Snip...
Likewise, the Libertarian Democrats rarely did more than make promises about Iraq and the Patriot Act their colleagues are unlikely to help them keep while acceding to their regions' political consensus on gun rights. And in Bob Casey, Pennsylvanians got a senator to the left of Rick Santorum on economics who would ban abortion even in cases of rape and favored the Terri Schiavo intervention.
None of this is to suggest that Republicans should go back to believing the post-2004 aggrandizement of the values vote. Just as rugged individualism isn't the same thing as libertarianism, a broad cultural conservatism doesn't necessarily translate into full support for the Beltway religious right's agenda.
Yet pundits should be more skeptical of analysts who draw electoral maps in which the Bible belt is ostracized. The Christian right's recent history is full of resurrection stories.
