Theresa Marie Schindler was born to Robert and Mary Schindler on December 3, 1963. She was the first of three children the Schindlers would have.
Terri was a shy, but comical, child who had an affinity for music, animals and the arts. She kept a small circle of friends and was dear to schoolmates, neighboring families and her own extended family.
Following high school, Terri came into her own. She developed a knack for sketching and doodling. She enjoyed outings with her friends. She was an adoptive mother to the familys dog, Bucky.
Terri attended Catholic School while growing up and remained close to her faith throughout her life.
In 1983, Terri met Michael Schiavo at Bucks County Community College and the two began dating. He was the first romantic interest Terri had.
The couple was engaged within a few months and married a year later at Terris church in Southampton, Pa. She was 21.
In 1986, Terri and Michael relocated to Pinellas County, Florida and her parents followed three months later.
In 1990, at the age of 26, Terri suffered a mysterious cardio-respiratory arrest for which no cause has ever been determined. She was diagnosed with hypoxic encephalopathy neurological injury caused by lack of oxygen to the brain. Terri was placed on a ventilator, but was soon able to breathe on her own and maintain vital function. She remained in a severely compromised neurological state and was provided a PEG tube to ensure the safe delivery of nourishment and hydration.
On March 31, 2005, Terri Schindler Schiavo died of marked dehydration following more than 13 days without nutrition or hydration under the order of Circuit Court Judge, George W. Greer of the Pinellas-Pascos Sixth Judicial Court. Terri was 41.
Michael has a safe lead, though :-)
I, too, have downloaded and printed such a profile and I also posted it on these threads a time or two. I used it to help us define a detractor at our church and it turns out to be the same one used by Cheryl Ford in her book on page 124, basically the same as yours and she used it to describe Mikey.
Interesting that you developed a scoring system and Mikey beats out Scott.
That's partly because Mikey is so much better known; I can't fill in some blanks on Scott because of my own ignorance of his character. However, there is a kind of contradiction in the list. A couple of the traits listed have to do with impulsive or irresponsible behavior. These are at odds with a crafty, careful sociopath. Some of the serial killers get very cunning indeed. Scott Peterson comes across as careful and meticulous (the book authors use those words). He made some mistakes but nobody can consider everything. You'd have to go along with "meticulous" -- so I don't have him checked off for "impulsive" or "irresponsible" or "adventurous." Mikey has been much sloppier than Scott, and gets about four stars as irresponsible. Let's face it, he is a bum and has been a bum all his life.
Looking at the list above, I don't think I have any checks on Scott Peterson for 3, 13, and 14. At least not more than one check for those three non-meticulous traits.
Does anyone have a list of other disabled persons who were neglected or faced early death? Which disabled persons are currently in a legal battle as Terri was? Anyone have a list of names and brief details / links?
BykrBayb, I believe you can probably help here.
Notable of those is Andrea Clark, and the subsequent exposure of the Texas Futile Care laws, which also enmeshed Mrs. Vo and others. Jimmy Chambers was victim in different circumstances despite all efforts, but perhaps exposure of his plight brought some lessons. Scott Thomas was nearly put to death, now is recovering with his loving family. We post updates on him frequently. We also do updates on Haleigh Poutre who was nearly killed in Massachusetts by the Department of Social Services. Constant airing of her plight has led to her safety for now and to investigations of the department, news that is current.
We have not compiled a comprehensive list, at least I have not, but the data and information are there in our Terri Dailies. We open new threads every month or so. The one for February is this: Still Waiting.
We check news items each morning on items related to Terri and her Legacy and to pro-life topics that touch such as regarding abortion and euthanasia as a counter to forces behind the attack on Terri and victims of similar plight. Sometimes we can uncover details our adversaries would prefer to keep hidden. Currently, we are looking at some of the details leading up these fifteen years to what happened to Terri. Lord willing we will bring the truth to the attention of the world.
Each morning as I am doing now, I ping to those on Terri's List to direct to the latest news we have found. We would be glad for your contributions.

This is a good, older thread. I’m just googling around.
