Thank YOU for the excellent links regarding the imams. Noting news stories today indicate Muslims want prayer rooms at multiple airports. One news commentator suggested they rent motel rooms near the airport for just that purpose. This would be a very bad precedent to begin since there are many other religions that could (and should) demand exactly the same thing and be just as entitled as this group feels they are.

OPINION: No religion needs special preference at an airport or on an airplane. If a religious group or any group for that matter does feel the need for continued special preferences; that group should start their own airline.
If I recall correctly, a certain airline now has (or plans to have) planes dedicated to smokers. That is good for smokers. It's good for business and keeps the smoking out of smoke free airports/airlines.
