With all the graphical might Sony's PS3 can flex, what makes David Light think the Wii has the competition cornered? And why should Sony be afraid now more than ever?

Heh, my teen daughter has that shirt. We are still on a waiting list for our Wii. I pray it comes before Christmas.

It's gameplay over graphics. Always has been. And Nintendo has always been excellent in that department.

Considering that rendering is mostly about programing and processing horsepower, I have always thought that the graphics portion of gaming would be the easiest to do, first to mature, and first to commoditize.

It is the user interface (joystick, console, etc) that is intuitive and easy to use that will win the future market. It looks to me like Wii has a leg up on the competition.

My son decided ages ago that he wanted one, but hubby and I just decided to let him get one. Now, no one has one. However, both of our local Targets say they will have some Sunday morning. I'll be there early.
