I don't disagree a two loss team could beat tOSU, but a playoff won't really solve that either. Someone could always say that.
if USC played all season the way they played against the domers, they would be undefeated. imo
Teams have been streaky.

A playoff is the ONLY way to go, because a team has to earn their championship, with an 8-team playoff they have to win at 3 games against quality opponents. Right now the inequity in scheduling is so massive as to prevent legitimate comparisons, it is all an insular popularity and beauty contest.
If a previously undefeated OSU loses in the playoffs to a 2-loss team, boo freakin' hoo. Look at Indy year after year in the NFL. I'd still take 2-loss USC over OSU or Michigan in any game in any stadium.
