Wow. The SEC is just choking away their chance at a National Championship.

Oklahoma is 8th in the AP poll but is currently 12th in the BCS rankings.Which is just further proof that the BCS is a total pile of sh!t. And I'm a Sooner-hating Longhorn, but they were totally robbed by Pac10 refs at Oregon, a sham of a call that if Florida loses and OU wins probably cost them a spot in the bogus nat'l champ game.
To: commish
Yup. A game like this doesn't help their cause.
To: michigander
You ready to go at it again, my Mich. FRiend? I am in the minority I guess, but I'm Big Ten PROUD, and am ready for a re-match.
Good luck to you in the screwed up BCS mess, if Fla. wins!

Any pollsters who were considering Florida are probably off that wagon by now.

True, but this game just shows why I love college football so much. Anything can happen on any given day.

Yes, but Texas beat Oklahoma (with Peterson). Kansas St. beat Texas and RUTGERS beat Kansas St. If Rutgers beats West Virginia tonight, I think they deserve a shot before Oklahoma should.

NOw today is starting to go from BCS nightmare scenario to the BCS coming out smelling like Roses. IF Florida loses, then there is no argument as Michigan is the Only team left standing at 1 loss that is worthy of the NC game.Baloney, the BCs still sucks. Very legitimate arguments that Louisville, Boise St, or even OU or Rutgers should have a shot at OSU. In fact no one can say with any certainty whatsoever that LSU or some other 2-loss teams wouldn't win it all if we had a playoff. A rematch is still a BCS eff up.
To: michigander
Get ready for a full month of hype.
To: LisaMalia
I am happy with a rematch too. I'm completely confident in Tressel and the Buckeyes. Plus, we have TBDBITL!

Agree with you on that -- A Playoff is the ONLY way to establish a true Champion.

Yeah I think there will still be too many 1 loss teams that would qualify before OKLA - just thinking we kinda thought when they got homered in ORE, it might hurt them this bad...
you know Stoops being a Hawkeye player, I gotta be supportive of my former Hawks...

It's the way they do it at every other level.

Agree with you on that -- A Playoff is the ONLY way to establish a true Champion. I agree too but my system would not allow for wild card teams. You must win your conference to qualify for the tournament.
