Ah, that explains it. I wrote them at the link asking "Who is this Joel MacNally person, a freshman journalism major interning at your paper?
For a subject line I used "Sophomoric Inanities", in retrospect that looks a little sophomoric too, ah well...throw enough s*** at the wall, some of it's bound to stick.

Anything the Capital Times, the frickin leftys in Madison or the DNR have to do with the outdoors or conservation is strickly by mistake.

The DNR which by most outdoorsmen's opinion is a bunch of lefty treehuggers from Madison/Milwaukee is strickly interested in selling licenses ($$$$$$) and if they had to sacrifice the last bit of wildlife in Wisconsin, they would gladly do it, and with the full support of our CHICKEN-SH*T politicians.

And no I am not a deer hunter.

I wouldn't argue with your post #26 at all. My point was to stress the need for this herd to be culled.

The deer population around the entire country is exploding in both rural and suburban areas. Some estimates are as high as 30,000,000 animals. The herd needs to be controlled with hunting to keep these majestic animals healthy. Starvation or vehicle collisions are a horrible way to go if the PETA crowd has its way.
