John Kerry Jokes Again - He Wants to Run in 2008

Despite his horrible pre-election gaffe, failed 2004 presidential candidate John Kerry is again considering a run at the nation's highest office. Will it be John Kerry in 2008 - certainly the Massachusetts senator believes it is possible.

Is this another botched joke? Recall that Kerry insulted many in and out of the American Military when he said just days before the mid-term elections:

"You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

Outrage ensued.

But Kerry tried to claim it was a botched joke.

The line really meant that President George W. Bush was stupid and uneducated - not the American military. The explanation didn't fly and Kerry was forced off the campaign trail and went home with his tail between his legs.

Stunningly - he emerged on Sunday with his latest effort to rebuild his reputation.

"First of all, obviously, it was a bad joke, and I apologized for it. And we moved on, and we should move on," Senator Kerry said yesterday. "This was a misstatement. All of us make them in life. You wish you could have it back, but you can't."

The 62-year-old poster boy for nuance yesterday dismissed suggestions that the botched joke about the intelligence of US soldiers in Iraq had torpedoed his political ambitions.

"Not in the least," he told Fox News.

"I'm looking at (running for the Democratic nomination

If you haven't heard, Hillary has taken to wearing a small crucifix in her lapel. That should tell you a lot.

It just tells me she really isn't a vampire after all. That just eliminates only one possibility.

Not to mention the Dorky Pic of John Kerry

Which one? There are so many to choose from.

I like the ones that showcase his athletic prowess with a football.

Ivan..have you forgotten Walter Mondale/ Geraldine Ferraro 1984 ,and it was even worse four years later with Mike Dukakis in 1988

Doesn't this pic just define dorkiness. Here is a man in his 60's, wearing a white Shirt and Kakhi pants rolling on the grass with a football, while everyone else stand around and watches. All the time he is smiling like he has done something wonderful. Can you imagine the grass stains in the knee of his pants? What a dope.
