John Kerry Jokes Again - He Wants to Run in 2008
National Ledger ^ | Nov 20,2006 | Jackson Simpson

Despite his horrible pre-election gaffe, failed 2004 presidential candidate John Kerry is again considering a run at the nation's highest office. Will it be John Kerry in 2008 - certainly the Massachusetts senator believes it is possible.

Is this another botched joke? Recall that Kerry insulted many in and out of the American Military when he said just days before the mid-term elections:

"You know, education, if you make the most of it, you study hard, do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

Outrage ensued.

But Kerry tried to claim it was a botched joke.

The line really meant that President George W. Bush was stupid and uneducated - not the American military. The explanation didn't fly and Kerry was forced off the campaign trail and went home with his tail between his legs.

Stunningly - he emerged on Sunday with his latest effort to rebuild his reputation.

"First of all, obviously, it was a bad joke, and I apologized for it. And we moved on, and we should move on," Senator Kerry said yesterday. "This was a misstatement. All of us make them in life. You wish you could have it back, but you can't."

The 62-year-old poster boy for nuance yesterday dismissed suggestions that the botched joke about the intelligence of US soldiers in Iraq had torpedoed his political ambitions.

"Not in the least," he told Fox News.

"I'm looking at (running for the Democratic nomination

There is no way in hell Kerry will run and Hellary will see to that. The giant puss filled zit that is Hellarys POTUS campaign is already at the bursting point here in NYC. It`s unrelenting and I wouldn`t be suprised in the least if she`s already exchanging poisoning secrets with Putin.

Hope you are healing, we miss you here, but you don't have to worry about John Kerry, he seems to have done himself in.

I have begun to realize how Hillary Clinton plans to win the Presidential Election, Hillary plans to keep a low profile, and not commit to anything. Which works well , since Democrats actually have no real plans, or any real direction to lead the country in, but chaos.

We can only hope that Hillary has those photogenic moments that Democrats often have in a campaign that kind of defines them

Ted%20&%20John%20Kerry

"Listen Uncle Ted, this sliming of all Nam Vets is just a 'joke' in order for me to get the publicity and name recognition, a gen-new-whine hero like me needs and deserves, so I can grow up and be a big-shot Senator just like you.

In 30 years, I'll be able to 'nuance' myself right out of this little treachery.....

and no one will care or remember."

Maybe he could tell us again about the lucky hat? You know, the one he keeps in the secret compartment of his briefcase, the one he got from that CIA agent in Cambodia.

I actually think Move on has distanced themselves from Kerry. Moving out, perhaps to France, may be his only hope of ever being elected president.

But Kerry tried to claim it was a botched joke.

And if he tries to run, this is going to come back and haunt him. The Swift Boat episode was years ago and while I believe it (that he was not innocent) it wasn't recent enough for people to remember the details clearly. This was.

as Al Gore would say:

"A zebra does not change its spots." - Al Gore, attacking President George Bush in 1992.

If you haven't heard, Hillary has taken to wearing a small crucifix in her lapel. That should tell you a lot.

Bob Casey was elected as a prolife candidate in Penna, and not a word has been said in the MSM against him for it.

The Dems and their pimp media are trying to put the Christians asleep. It worked on Nov. 7; it could work again.

I don't think the Democrats have repeated an error of this magnitude since nominating Adlai Stevenson.

I am fairly convinced it will be a Hillary / Obama ticket.
