Yes.... and I found out later that all 2004 sign-ups got an extra looking at because some group (I forget which now) was actually encouraging as many people as possible to sign up here and cause mayhem...

I do not see mayhem here. I do see a few people expressing their heart felt opinions and I see agreement and disagreement about those opinions and I see individuals trying to work out a course, a direction that will bring about a conservative victory in 08.

I also see heated discussions and some disparaging accusations. I would guess these exchanges are to be expected now and again, especially when talking politics or religion.

I like Newt. I don't like any of the other likely candidates or their chances of uniting conservatives.

The problem with Newt, as a candidate, is that he would win any debate with what ever DEM is his opponent but half of the citizens would not understand he won. They would wait for the talking heads to tell them, "well you know Newt made a few good points but the other guy/gal looked better"
