If I were compared to a monkey I wouldn't be offended as I AM NOT LIKE ONE!!! I also wouldn't be offended if I was compared to a river, a constellation, Michael Moore or a box of Cracker Jacks. Why some people are so easily offended escapes me, but I am cowardly enough not to compare muslims to terrorists.

Some people are easily offended because they have been taught, by the culture they have been brought up in, to act offended by anything that can garner them attention. The thinking is that being offended will eventually lead to a lawsuit which will eventually lead to a monetary gain.
