It's crimes like this that might make Massachusetts reinstate the death penalty.

Isn't it a shame that the authorities have lost all sense of proportionality.

As contrasted to my 11-yo, who owns a very nice Ruger competition rifle.

If they were just bullets, then there was no danger. If they were cartridges, then the potential for harm is higher, but you still need a firearm to shoot them.

Ms. Skrzyniarz, who returned telephone calls yesterday to four parents who left messages for her on Tuesday, said she went to the school yesterday to see how the students were doing. I wanted to see how they were weathering the incident, she said.
I hope the little darlings arent too traumatized. Ms. Skrzyniarz would have been horrified to have seen what we brought to school in the '50s and '60s.

Not 1 but 2 bullets!!!!
The rest of the students will need psychological counseling for life to overcome this tramatic event. /sarcasm

Ms. Skrzyniarz, as if having a completely unpronounceable name were not bad enough, you are also a full-fledged barking moonbat numbskull. But, as a good liberal, you can always blame "the system" for that;)

I wanted to see how they were weathering the incident, she said."Weathering the incident?" LOL! Quick, call in the counselors, because I'm sure they were very traumatized. I take it, this must be a big event in MA?

As this is happening to an American boy in Massachusetts, somewhere in the Middle East there is a boy attending an Islamic Madrassa, and things are much different in his school. At least once a week, this Muslim boy is taken to his schools rifle range, is taught how to load and fire his rifle. Target silhouettes of American soldiers are put up for this boy to fire at, and he is graded on his marksmanship.
In all likelihood, in years to come, these two boys will meet as grown men and soldiers on the battlefield. Which one of these to soldiers do you think will be the better prepared to survive this meeting?

The school lock-down was the icing on the cake. I wonder how many adults wet themselves during this reign of terror.

Almost the same hysterical uproar as the discovery of a 22 caliber bullet in the entry way of a store in the UK.
Who are in control of Mass. politics?
Democrats.
Is this their plan for the rest of America?
Absolutely yes!

Note to terrorists: to paralyze the state of Massachusetts, scatter a few .22 caliber rounds in various locations like schools, hospitals, libraries, stadiums and government buildings. Wait for the furor to die down from one incident then repeat.

If we didnt take any action we would have been negligent, Chief Sluckis said.
This statement is 100% true. Had someone been shot, after bullets were found, everyone would be screaming that the officials didn't search the school.
Given the school shootings lately, I would expect officials to search the school in this situation. I don't think this qualifies as hysteria. They put the school in lockdown, and searched it. To me it seems a reasonable approach.

Well, to the best of my knowledge, it's always been illegal to bring weapons to school, and if I remember my old high school Student Handbook, bullets were among the items specifically listed as weapons (Amazingly, firearms were listed pretty low on the list).

So with such draconian anti gun measures in place Mass. must have no gun related crime at all(except by those hicks coming up from Dixie).
