Does Target have the Salvation Army this year?

They donated $1,000,000 to them. That is what I was referring to.

I am curious, btw. Does anyone know if this would be more oe less than what they would make outside the stores. I really want to know, this isn't a sarcasm thing.

I don't think they will let the bell ringers in front, but I believe they were working on a donation program/grant to that organization.

I hope not. I can't stand the bell ringing and specifically avoid places that have it.

Target will still not allow Salvation Army bell ringers but chose to make a large (tax deductible for them) donation.

PC way around the bad press of not allowing Salvation Army (which reminds people of God's Salvation coming to earth through the Son). It was the joy of having people donate (whether or not taxable to them NOT Target) that the Target folks felt was so "unseemly" during the "Holiday/Winter Festival Season."
