It's hard to make economics exciting and entertaining, but Friedman did (at least for me, lol). His wisdom will be missed.

It wasn't called "The Dismal Science" for nothing.

Rest in peace, Mr. Friedman.

The Dismal Science

It's been called that because Thomas Malthus said that population growth would always ensure that man lived just above the subsistance level. Milton Friedman, on the other hand, made economics "alive" for students, instilling economic hope wherever a free market could take hold.
