Are Middle Eastern terrorists posing as Mexican immigrants?
Click to watch video
A warning from some Texas congressmen: Middle Eastern terrorists may be trying to pose as Mexican immigrants.
But is it a warning based on fact or politics?
Some people in Houston are worried about the message.
You couldnt miss it during the election.
Texas politicians saying the border needed protection, not just to stop undocumented workers, but terrorists.
A month before the election, Mike McCaul, a congressman from a district northwest of Houston, released a report
(snip)
The FBI director has confirmed that theres Middle Easterners with known al-Qaida connections assuming false Hispanic identities entering the United States illegally and disappearing," he said. (snip)

Like Houston dosnt have enough problems with New Orleans immigrants and mexican immigrants, now they have to worry about Arab muslim immigrants. Probably carrying napsacks with IED's in them.

"And there are some people on FR who are praying this is happening so they can use it as an issue to attack President Bush and the GOP some more."
Even more unnerving are the koolaid drinkers who refuse to place the responsibility where it belongs.

Mexicans teaching the jihadis English...
There's a joke in there somewhere, but I'm not finding any of this amusing.

It's NOT amnesty (sarcasm still on)..it's a path to citizenship that begins when they cross the border..illegally.

Here's a pic of a jacket left in the desert:
A jacket with a patch depicting a plane flying towards a skyscraper with the words "Midnight Mission" and an arabic patch was found along the Texas-Mexico border back in December. (2004, I think)

My hubby and I were at a rest stop about 2 weeks ago, and hubby talked briefly to two men. They were brown skinned, and hubby thought they were hispanic, but the man I heard had a very definite accent like someone from the ME....I used to tutor ESL back in the 80s, and worked with a lot of people from arabic speaking areas: Egypt, Syria, and such, as well as with people from Pakistan, Iran and a few from Afghanistan...and this accent sounded much more like that than any Hispanic person.
What this told me is that a lot of people not familiar really don't know the difference at a glance or in a casual conversation.
Now, I will admit, hubby is a little hard of hearing, but it was absolutely clear to my ear!

Some people want to jump down the throats of Congress for fighting Bush on Immigration prior to the election. Claiming they made it a big deal and lost us the election.
It was 9/11 and this video that made the border a big deal. Too bad we had 6 years of non-action on the border. It could have been an accomplishment to tout instead of negligence to hide.
