I have prayed for each of the people you wrote about and have asked for each to have protection, support and healing during this very painful time in Christ's name. I have also asked for Chris's healing--if it is not God's will for his body then for his soul--during this very critical time. May God's will be done for all. Bless you too Kim.
Dear Lord, Please give Sherry the strength she needs, and Sherry and her two children Your peace. Please give Chris time to say goodbye, and to make his peace with You. Please help Gretchen to do the things she can to help, and to be at peace with the things she cannot help.

Does he have lymphoma of the stomach? That is a fast growing tumor...but they can treat it with surgery and chemo if they can stablize him i.e. get him well enough to live thru the side effects of the treatment.

We want to see your mighty power Lord upon this man, we want to see a miracle of healing. Honor our faith in You my God and our hearts praise You in the highest.
Dear Lord God Almighty, this world and all its curses is horrifying. Without knowledge of You, that there is a hope for mankind, we could not endure. Thank You for coming, Jesus Christ, and revealing the Love of the Father to us. Oh please direct the hearts of Chris, Sherry, their children, and of Gretchen into Your Perfect Peace, Peace that passes all understanding. Oh please show mercy in the midst of this horror, surrounding them with Your HOLY Spirit, all good, all wise, all knowing, all sufficient, all grace...that they will know You are super-attendant over them, over this situation, and that there is hope even in this. I ask for helpers and counselors of Your Peace, for signs of Your Presence, for very real manifestations of Your Blessing, SHALOM, in them and over them and all around them now and from now on. Father, we don't even know how to pray, but You have promised that Your Spirit, sent into us by the resurrection of Jesus Your Son and received by faith, a gift of mercy, knows all things, and will intercede on our behalf. You hear our groans and interpret them in the Mind of Christ. We know Christ intercedes for us, and we lay claim to His perfect sacrifice now for this family and for this friend. Thank You that by Your Love this is possible through our Mediator, High Priest, Prophet and King, Yeshua, the Messiah, the Prince of Peace. O, come, Lord Jesus, with power!
