I don't know if it is on the FOXNEWS site yet, but something potentially very important occured on Hannity and Colmes tonight.

KSFO's Melanie Morgan was a guest and exposed Nancy Pelosi, speaker in waiting, as employing illegal aliens to work on her wine vineyard in the Napa Valley.

If the charges are proven, how can the House possibly allow Pelosi to become speaker? Draining the swamp, will mean draining her.

As you might recall, Linda Chavez had to withdraw her nomination as Labor Secretary after it was revealed that she had hired an illegal alien in the 1990s.

I'd venture to say that the union leadership within any local is a hotbed of rabid Democrats, with any support of Republicans "de minimus" at best.

Watch how, after Linda Chavez had to step down from a cabinet position, and Bill Clinton's Attorney General picks Kimba Wood and Zoe Baird had to step down, and even California's Michael Huffington' Senate campaign was victim to allegedly hiring illegal aliens, somehow when it is Nancy Pelosi, this will be different, times have changed, yada yada yada.

And the media will support it.

Napa and Sonoma Counties have approximately 70,000 acres of wine grape vineyards between them. Most of these are managed and picked by hand. Among the thousands of grape growers in these premium wine counties, only 5 use union labor.

Grape growers subverted unionization by forming grower associations and offering laborers health insurance, pensions and other benefits including high wages.

Unions don't have much presence in Napa in any of the main industries (hospitality, health care and ag) and least of all in agriculture. The north bay is nothing like Salinas, for example.

To date, republicans have not been know for their interest in promoting labor or unionization of ag workers so this story will mostly be seen for what it is, an effort to slam Mz Pelosi. I don't like her any more than you do, but this "scandal" won't hurt her a bit.

I too heard a few times that she refuses to let her slave labor force unionize. We HAVE to push these stories until the MSM HAS to acknowledge it . We NEVER do this and that's why we lost . We need a force of vocal ACTIVIST that go public and if need be MAKE A PUBLIC SPECTICLE of themselves to get attention . A bunch of fat old lesbians like Code Pink figured out how to make news all the time . Why can't we . Chatting about it on FR will do nothing . We need people in the streets , picketing , marching , just like they do . Why can't we get a few hundred people to block the doors of congress holding signs that tell the Pelosi employee story. It will make the 6 O clock news . we need to play dirty like they do .
