Valdemar cited the following cities as having been infiltrated by the Mexican drug cartels: Lynwood, Bell Gardens, Hawaiian Gardens, South Gate, Huntington Park., Vernon, Cudahy.
Drug cartels set up phony businesses to launder drug money, usually used car lots, used tire shops that serve as a "front" for their operations.
Valdemar says it all starts when a small business, like a restaurant, is purchased by someone with drug money from Mexico, who sets up shop and starts inviting the city fathers to come for complimentary or discounted meals.
Then invitations are extended to local police and other government officials, until the business operator is well established, with powerful friends.
Drug money is used to send out smear campaign literature to destroy reputations of incumbent city council members and to finance the campaigns of challengers whose goal is to get a majority voting block on the city council.
Once the drug cartel controls the city council, they fire the city attorney, city manager and start giving out contracts, like the trash collection contract, to their cronies.
Muslims next to infiltrate.
And .. our tax dollars feed them, clothe them, pay for their medical care and they continue to turn out more and more children who will not speak english and the cycle continues.
This is what happens when you have no stomach to demand assimilation; learning the language of the country; and also demanding that people enter the country the right way.
That is it in a nutshell. Liberal weakness in the face of aggressive, violent criminality has enabled this to happen.
Thirty years ago when the smugglers in Arizona were caught by the Border Patrol, they threw up their hands and begged for mercy. Now they laugh and take potshots at them. They have no fear of American law enforcement anymore, because they know they've been neutered. They even call them girls, which is a fatal insult in any Latin country.
Aggressive opportunists push in where they feel no resistance. They have done so, and now control a significant portion of American soil.
Where are the troops?
I would also like to point out that LA's Mayor, Villaraigosa, was big in MEChA while in college. This organization advocates the return of the whole Southwestern USA to Mexico. One thing MEChA focuses on is getting their people into political office. The raging lefties in SoCal vote for them because they want to see the minorities have a voice. Sadly, when the minorities finally take over completely there will be no more SoCal, just Northern Mexico.
Interesting. There are a slew of new Mexican used tire shops around here now and I never see gringos around them. But maybe they are only what they say they are.
But our lettuce & tomatoes are cheaper. /sarcasm!!!

Actually, no one (esp. MSM) wants to admit it, but you are absolutely right. The Mexican culture is rampant with extortion and it is part and parcel of the culture. This "culture" will infiltrate the U.S., particularly, the Southwest, and it will erode the economies which it touches.
The U.S. thrives because it's system is based on a sound premise of laws and enforcement. The American culture enables businesses to succeed and economies to thrive because of its stand against corruption. A corrupt society does not produce a successful economy or a stable environment, period.
